Indeed, better is four hours in His courts than a thousand elsewhere. Jehovah praise 2009 was a night of Spirit - filled praise and worship unto the King eternal. Starting after 5:00pm with a prayer session, the programme which was held at the Central Cafeteria of the University of Ghana made giant strides in the quest for true worship, leading all participants in a heart outpour to the Father of Glory.

After the worship and praise, the President of the National Union of Baptist Students (NUBS), Legon chapter gave a rousing welcome address which also encouraged participants to fellowship with the purpose of the glorious event.

The house then received a choreography ministration from the ROCS. With so much creativity and skill, the ROCS (theatre group of the NUBS) arrested the attention of all, in their delivery of the message of the rapture and the second coming of Christ.

Immediately after the choreography, the dynamic host choir, Stewards of Praise took over the stage and presented their first package of ministrations. They sang “Welcome you Lord into this Place” and many other songs which helped the hearts of participants to worship God. A man of God was in the house to join this chariot of worship. Rev. Chargley came and ushered the congregation into another level of worship through well known but presence – filled hymns. Rev. Akrofi was also present to give a word of exhortation.

The guest artiste for the night was worshipper Eugene Zuta. His ministration carried so much presence (manifest) of God into the the auditorium, touching many lives and healing others. It was a glorious sight to see as people got slain by the power of the Holy Ghost through worship. His ministration was followed by the second package from the Host Choir.

The smiles on the faces of participants told the entire story of how fulfiling the time spent with God on Sunday night (25th October) had been to the lives of those who were there. Jehovah inhabited the praise of His people, and He gave them vitrues to carry them on through the year!
